How much does it cost to take a course?
Courses taken directly through ECTOD are $15 for each 2-hour course. Courses taken
from Bainbridge College for the CDA are priced individually. Contact us for those prices.
How much credit do I earn for a course?
You earn 2 clock hours of credit and 0.2 CEUs for each course taken directly through
ECTOD.
Are these courses accepted by state licensing agencies?
Most, but not all, states accept the certificates you receive for completing our courses. You
can click on States Accepting to review a list of the states we can confirm accept our
courses. For all others, check with your licensing agency. Be sure to tell them that you are
earning CEU credit from an accredited college.
Can I use these courses for CDA and CDA renewal?
Yes. The Council for Professional Recognition accepts the CEUs you earn from our courses
for the CDA and CDA renewal.
Can I get my CDA through ECTOD?
You can earn the 120 hours of training required to obtain a CDA through ECTOD and
Bainbridge College. Go to CDA INFORMATION for details.
